"I had been carrying a small knife, but often wished I had a driver or pliers. I like how thin the tool is. It still fits comfortably in my pocket, but the drivers and pliers are really handy."

Pretty slick! Date: February 2, 2009
"I had a leatherman crunch, that I lost in the Columbia River after five faithful years of service. I saw the skeletool at a local retailer and almost died of sticker shock. Then I saw it here for a very reasonable price. I've had it for two months now and I actually carry it everyday.

The crunch was useful, but I only pocketed it on days I knew I would want it (I work at a fish hatchery), due to its considerable heft. So of course most days that I could have used it, it was at home on the dresser. Not so, with the skeletool.

I have not missed any of the extra tools that the skeletool is without. Knife, screwdrivers, pliers/cutters, bottle opener. That is all you really need. It is nice and slim so it fits in your front pocket, no problem. The only negative is that if you drop it, you may have to go searching for the stored screwdriver bit, as it has popped out twice on me. I sort of crimped the holder, so that it has a better bite and all is well. I highly recommend this tool. Ps. spring for the CX, it looks wicked in black!"
